What is the Cornerstone Parenting and Education Program?

The Cornerstone Parenting and Education Program provides educational support, encouragement, and practical resources for individuals preparing for pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting. Through the BrightCourse program, participants learn parenting and life skills while receiving guidance from Parenting Coaches.

What is BrightCourse?

BrightCourse is an educational program within the Cornerstone Parenting and Education Program where participants complete lessons on pregnancy, parenting, relationships, and life skills. Participants earn points that can be used in the Baby Boutique to obtain baby items.

Do I receive baby supplies through the program?

Yes. Participants earn points through BrightCourse lessons that can be used in the Baby Boutique to select baby clothing and supplies. Diapers, wipes, and baby formula may also be available to help meet family needs.

Is there a cost to participate?

No. The Cornerstone Parenting and Education Program and BrightCourse lessons are offered at no cost to participants.

What if I’m not sure I’m ready to be a parent?

Feeling uncertain about parenting is common. The Cornerstone Parenting and Education Program provides a supportive place to ask questions, learn about available resources, and receive encouragement from Parenting Coaches.

Will someone help me learn how to care for my baby?

Yes. Parenting Coaches work with participants and provide guidance through BrightCourse lessons that cover newborn care, parenting skills, and child development.
